What is the procedure for booking arhita seva by sending DD in advance?

 You can book Arjita sevas by sending DD to max 90 days in advance.

Below is the process.

1. Check out the price of the seva you would like to book at the below official link. In the Arjita sevas table check under advance booking column. So sevas cant be booked by sending DD. So make sure you are selecting the seva which is not showing NILL against it under Advance booking column.

2. Take a DD from only nationalized banks in favour of : The Executive Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupati.

3. On a white paper write a letter with the below details:
a)The Seva name you want
b) Preferred dates. Make sure you mention ateast 2-3 flexible dates. You can also mention any next available date if you dont have any date constraint. 
c)No. of pilgrims and their names, age,gender
d)Your correspondence address.
e)Your Contact Number.

4. Take xerox copies of photo ID cards of all pilgrims.

5. Send DD, Letter and Xerox of photo ID cards to the below address through a post or courier.

what are the different arjita sevas and how much will they cost. Also will we get free darshan with them?
Arjita seva's are the seva/ Puja/ Rituals performed to Lord Venkateshwara.

There are two different types of sevas, One is the Sevas conducted daily and the other is the sevas which are performed only on a specific day(s) of the week. (weekly sevas)

Also among these seva's some are performed to the main daitey inside temple and others are performed to utsava murthy in different mandapam.

Quota will be released for future 90 days

All these seva's will have darshan included. But for sevaas performed to utsava murthy it will be generally 300 rs ticket line and some will be included in break darshan. The costly the seva the easy is the darsan after seva.

I want to take VIP recommendation Letter for VIP darshan? who can issue this letter?
What is the process after i get this letter? please explain?

 MLA's and MP's , Chief minister's , Judges, IAS , IPS officers Donars who donate more than 1 crore , famous movie actors, sports personalities, famous carporates are treated as VIP's. They will all be give VIP entry but not every one's letter will be considered as VIP recommendation letter and given importance.

But generally recommendation letters from only MLA's, MPS, Ministers of centre and state and donars will be given priority.

what is the procedure to be followed once we get the VIP recommendation letter?

 My first suggestion : Never plan for darsan on saturday/sunday or public holiday.

Get the recommendation letter and fax it to 0877-2263960,3214 minumum 3 - 4 days in advance.

Reach tirumala one day in advance to the day you want to go for darshan.

Once you reach tirumala, got to JEO office and complete the form for darsan + acommadation and submit it. If you are looking for AC rooms, mention it clearly. 

You will get a message in the evening if your darshan is confirmed or not. Yes :) even with VIP recommendation letter there is no guarantee you will get tickets for sure. Because every one is bringing VIP letters these days and they give tickets based on their own discretion.

Opting for darshan on working days will increase your chances of getting VIP darshan tickets confirmed

It may take from 8 hours to 10 hours and some times more from the time you enter the free darsan queue.

If there are VIP's , VVIPS or movie actors visiting tirumala it may lead to delay in sarva darsanm (free darsanam).

Better to go for Sudarsanam token system because you will be give a time to enter queue and you can book it online. It will save time and strain.

what is the age limit to be considered senior citizen? How long will it take?
Darsan for senior citizens and Physically disabled is clubbed together. 

The age limit for seniour citizens is 65. An ID card with age proof is needed for senior citizens

Timings for seniour citizen darsan are 10.00am ,2.00pm ,6.00pm,10.00pm. On tuesdays and wednesdays the darsan at 6 PM is excluded.

One more person is allowed to acompany seniour citizens if they are very old and need some one for support

Sarva Darsanam - the free darshanam 

Seeghra Darshan or Special Entry Darshan - Its the 300 rs ticket.

Divya Darshan - This is provided to pilgrims who climb the seven hils from tirupati to tirumala. These tickets are issued during their way to tirumala climbing the steps.

Darshan for seniour citizens and Physically handicaped and parents accompanying infants: 

The age limit for seniour citizens is 65. Its timings are as below daily.
10.00am ,2.00pm ,6.00pm,10.00pm
On tuesdays and wednesdays the darsan at 6 PM is excluded.

VIP darshan - Darsan for people who get recommendation letter from VIP's or VVIP's. 

Arjita seva Darsan - Also Darsanam will be provided for people who opt for seva's like kalayanm etc.

The Satyamev Jayate Show Impact

Satyamev Jayate has taken up one of the most important issues of our time "The Dropping of the Female child in the Womb and the gender inequality and various other problems its creating.

The show has generated a lot of revenue for the producers and there has been a huge debate to the real intentions of the show and if it is really going to have any impact and if the issued discussed on the show will be forgotten in due course or any action will taken on this.

Aamir has successfully brought the burning issues to the attention of the Audience and to a huge audience through Doordarshan and many other regional channels along with Star Plus. So this makes people aware of the issues and there is fair chance of some of these issues going in to future election manifestos.

Even the News channels are discussing these isssues and hopefully something good will come out of it. If it wasnt for Amir's show most of us would not have know of these issues and i certainly woulnt have been aware of them.

How does policybaazar.com make money, policybaazar Business model,policybaazar review

I have seen a lot of policybaazar ads on the internet and i wondered how are they going to make money.

Well recently one of my friends who is a Insurance agent said that he was buying Insurance leads from policybazar in search of prospective customers interested in Insurance policies.

I just surfed the site and found that Policy Bazaar sells these leads through its website Policydeals.co.in.

So they advertise online encouraging prospective Policy buyers to provide their contact details to receive price quotations on policies.

The sell these leads (contact and intrest details of a customer) to Insurance agents on Policydeals.co.in.

They act as a medium between the prospective buyers and policy agents. Simple Idea, Big business.

I have checked that there are quite a lot of similar websites that are coming up with this business model. So i think the competition is increasing for PolicyBaazar.

Question Answer websites future, myths, advantages and problems

Just wanted to put my thoughts down on the Questions Answer websites as anyone who is an active member of these websites like yahoo answers may wake up some day and think "why dont i create my own question answer website".

Good you are thinking as enterprenure but there are a few  things you need to consider before going ahead.

1. How do you plan to earn from them?

If you are planing to use Adsense then bad idea. Adsense works well for sites which have a specific niche. I.E websites with a specific topic like politics or humor or something else.

But Q&A websites dont generally have this. You will have questions from different areas. So difficult for adsense to display relevant ads all the time. SO less CTR.

2. With all the Q&A scripts, you have to place ads in a IFRAME which are separate from content and have no link to content. It means you are again going to have problem with ad relevancy. You need your ad code along with content only then the ads will be relevant to the content.

3. You need to have good user base and users that are active on your website in terms of generating content. So to keep them active you need to run promotional events. And hire professional content writers to post good answers to questions asked by users. It means more investment.

4. if you are going to create a website based on Q&A script you should think of dedicated hosting.  Shared hosting will slow down your site. Shared hosting is only good for html or static websites. So you need to make good investment.

5. Also if you are suing a Q&A script you loose control of the software. You have to use what ever options  script gives you. In the script used, there is are two good ad placements but they are also displayed on login and register page. As per adsense policy you can have adsense on login and register pages. So i cant use adsense in those areas. So think carefully before you go ahead with the script.

6. If you are thinking that since your website is going to create user generated content, search engines will bring you visitors, you are wrong. Only a few questions will have the power to get visitors from search engines. And only once your website  is a year old will the search engines start noticing your website.

My advise dont go Q&A website way and start a blog and write some thing you like. Use existing Q&A sites to create back links. Get some traffic and make some money. Blogs are easy to monetise.

Only advantage:
You can post just about anything on these website.
like a question can be : why does hair grow white? or how is eletricity produced? and so on.....

Domain parking is dead. Domain parking review

Honestly Domain parking is dead. And domain buying and selling is not for par timers. It only pays if you take it up as a full time job.

Well I have been fascinated by the web for a couple of years now and have been lured in to domain buying and selling business. I have tried to buy and sell some fancy domains but didn't work. There are no greedy idiots on lookout for fancy domains and buy them at any cost. Honestly i thought there are such people when i first started buying domains.

The problem is a domain is not really worth unless it stands on its own for keyword and can get unique visits with users typing the domain name like indian.com or american.com. These sort of domains are all already taken

Domains which have more than 7 letters in them are worthless unless it closely relates to a famous website like a facebook.com or google.com . Since all these domains are already taken by the companies to protect their brands from misuse you cant find much use for them as well.

If you try to buy a domain like facebok.com even if it waiting for you to be registered, how many people do you expect to type facebok.com instead of facebook and land on your domain. even if they land how many click?  CPC is rare for domains CPM for domain parking pays a few cents.

I found one Indian domain name which closely resembles a brand and it got some traffic. it got some traffic but not enough to renew it. And i did not find any takers for the domain when i put it on sale because of legal problems.

SO only the domain parking companies and the registrars are the ones making money. Most parked domains don't reach the thresh hold limit of payment and if you buy up multiple domains and even get some payments on the long run you be loosing money as you will be loosing more money on buying domains from the payments you receive.

So my advise would be to stop dreaming about domain parking and if you really want to make some money out of your domain start a blog or a website on it and try using advertising on it.
